So the waste goes in the garbage, and the garbage doesn't go on the floor....I don't think it's very clear on where things are supposed to go.
The sign must be confusing some other people too because aparently the trash goes in the middle of the Right-of-Way on my project.
I'm not just talking about your casual person with a pickup dumping off an old couch, although there are those. There's a serious garbage operation going on. There was (is apparently) a landfill area next to our ROW. It was cleaned up before construction started and everyhing was being hauled away. Apparently no one sent the memo out to the garbage men telling them there wasn't supposed to be a landfill here anymore. 
Having been to Libya twice - and seeing the blatant disrespect the Libyans have of their own country, was very disappointing.
ReplyDeleteMost Libyans have little or no accountability for their actions, including proper removal of refuse. It's always easier to blame EVERYONE else - and assume someone else will look after you instead of yourself.
Some environmental education should be mandatory in schools and work places.
