Maltese

So I realize I mentioned in my Malta post that they all spoke english on the island. That comment is mostly accurate. Malta actually does have it's own language, Maltese. It's a combination of arabic, italian, latin, and some others. We rarely heard it spoken though while we were there. Every waiter, shopkeeper, cabby, etc that we spoke to seemed to understand english. Some of the signs we saw around town were written in Maltese. If you can figure out what this says other than BROKE, I'm impressed. You're a better person than me.
